Privacy Policy
Tiny Anthem turns a short message into a sung song. This policy explains what personal information we handle, why, and the choices you have. We keep it deliberately small: we don't run ads, we don't track you across other apps or sites, and we don't sell your data.
Who we are
Tiny Anthem is operated by togglekit ("we", "us"), based in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us at hello@togglekit.dev.
This policy covers the Tiny Anthem website at tinyanthem.app and the Tiny Anthem iPhone app.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist (website)
Your email address, so we can tell you when the app is available. Nothing else.
When you make a song (app)
- The message you type, and an optional recipient name if you add one. This is turned into lyrics and a song.
- A random device identifier we create on your phone. It is not your name, phone number, or Apple ID. We use it to back up your song history off-device so a reinstall does not wipe the tapes you have made.
- The songs you generate and basic details about them (genre, when they were made).
The app has no accounts, passwords, or logins. We do not collect your name, contacts, location, photos, or advertising identifiers, and we include no advertising or third-party analytics/tracking software.
Automatically
Like any online service, our servers and our hosting provider record standard technical information (such as IP address and timestamps) to keep the service running and secure.

You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights below). Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service. They process information on our instructions, only as needed:

We also run our own server to operate the app and hold your backed-up history. We do not sell your personal information or share it for anyone else's advertising.
Sending information outside the UK
Some of the providers above are in the United States, so making a song involves an international transfer of your message. Where we can, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers (such as the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses). You can ask us for details of the safeguards in place.
How long we keep it
- Waitlist email: until the app launches and we've contacted you, or until you ask us to remove you, whichever is first.
- Song history and messages: until you delete a song, or you ask us to erase your data, or the device identifier has been inactive for a long period.
- Technical logs: a short period, for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form, and you can withdraw consent. To do any of this, email hello@togglekit.dev and we'll help.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
AI-generated songs
Songs are created by artificial intelligence from your message. How you can use them, and what rights exist in them, is covered in our Terms.
Children
Tiny Anthem is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service grows. We'll change the date at the top, and for significant changes we'll make the update clear.
